The rules
How to use the daily allowance
One export = one conversation
The counter moves once per export, whatever the length of the thread. A 300-message conversation costs the same one export as a three-message one.
It resets daily, not monthly
A monthly window would be no limit at all for most people, and a hard wall for the rest. A daily one is an honest ceiling you can plan around.
The free export is the complete export
Nothing is trimmed, shortened or watermarked on the free tier, and no format is held back. Markdown and PDF both work on every tier.
Your conversation is not part of the deal
The transcript is assembled and written inside your browser. What reaches our server is your account, your plan and how many exports you have run — never the content.
Same file
Why the free export is the same file as the paid one
Paying does not switch on a better exporter. There is one export path in the code and every tier runs it — the daily counter is the only thing that reads your plan. Nothing in the renderer asks whether you have paid, so there is no place for a watermark, a truncation or a locked format to live.
You can check this yourself once it is installed: export a conversation on the free tier, then export the same conversation on Pro. The two files are the same file.

What do I get for free?
Five exports a day after signing in with Google, and two a day without an account at all. Every one of them is the complete conversation — nothing is dropped, shortened or watermarked. The free tier and Pro produce exactly the same file. Paying only removes the daily limit.
Do I need an account?
Not to try it. Two exports a day work with no account. Signing in with Google raises that to five, because an account is what lets us tell one person from ten thousand requests.
What does Pro actually unlock?
The daily limit, and nothing else. There is no feature behind the paywall — no format is locked, no watermark is added, no conversation is shortened for free users. If that ever stops being true, this page changes first.
Monthly or yearly?
Yearly works out at about $1.67 a month. Monthly exists so you can stop after one month if the tool turns out not to fit how you work.
Is my conversation uploaded anywhere?
No. The transcript is assembled and written inside your browser. What reaches our server is your account, your plan and a count of how many exports you have run — never the content.
